Webinar: discover new opportunities to connect through member groups

On 15 June, World Nuclear Association held a webinar to present new Working Groups and explain how all members can get involved.

World Nuclear Association connects members through Working Groups and panels where the members can inform and influence the work of the Association, share best practices, conduct analysis, and develop consolidated positions on a wide range of industry issues. These groups act as the interface between the nuclear industry and external organizations that have an impact on the future of nuclear energy. Several of these organizations set the policy framework for nuclear power, such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) or the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP). Others set global policy frameworks in climate change, finance, energy, or resource management. Each Working Group is composed of experts from member companies, chaired by one of these experts and has a Board member assigned as a mentor.

Following a thorough review, World Nuclear Association has created several Working Groups and realigned the overall structure for all its forums to maximize impact, address current members’ needs, and help accelerate the growth of the nuclear industry.

In this webinar, the Association's Secretariat presented the new Working Groups and explained how all members can get involved.
