Launch of the World Nuclear Outlook Report 2025

The World Nuclear Association successfully launched a preview of World Nuclear Outlook Report 2025 at COP30. The session highlighted that tripling global nuclear energy by 2050 is within reach—if governments act now, reflecting the findings published in our post-event statement:

The launch included an overview of global progress against national nuclear pledges and updated planned and proposed capacity figures. It also examined the evolving landscape of nuclear technologies and the expanding role of nuclear energy across sectors such as clean electricity, industrial heat, hydrogen, and desalination.
