Spotlighting Net Zero Nuclear- Join Us!

We’re pleased to share news on Net Zero Nuclear, our transformative initiative that calls for unprecedented collaboration between government and industry to at least triple global nuclear capacity and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Managed by World Nuclear Association, the Net Zero Nuclear platform drives impact through advocacy and engagement, ensuring nuclear stays at the forefront of energy and global climate discussions. Our strategic partners play a key role in this journey, creating long-term value by fueling nuclear energy’s recognition as a clean and reliable cornerstone of global sustainability. 

Following the success of our launch last year, with significant milestones at COP28; the signing by heads of state and ministers of the Declaration to Triple Nuclear Energy Capacity, and the endorsement by companies of the Net Zero Nuclear Industry Pledge, Net Zero Nuclear announced our new strategic partnership platform in September at World Nuclear Symposium 2024 last month in London.

Later at Climate Week NYC, we gathered leaders from government, finance, and industry to discuss financing nuclear energy expansion. At the same event,14 global financial institutions announced their support for our goal to triple nuclear capacity by 2050.

With media coverage from the Financial Times, Reuters, Barron’s, and Forbes, the event set the stage for our Road to COP30 campaign, during which Net Zero Nuclear will lead initiatives and events designed to drive industry engagement and influence global policy.
